Remote/In-person
The workshop is designed to be an in-person event and will take place as such unless the authorities forbid this type of gathering. The format of the event is that of a workshop, with one single session and opportunities for free discussion, in a nice location. We will take all precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, in line with the guidelines from the local authorities.
If you want to attend in person, you will have to show proof of either full Covid-19 vaccination or of recovery from Covid-19. Please see the corona-guideline page here.
There is the possibility to participate remotely, for those who cannot make it, but at the same registration cost as for in-person participants — the expenses of having an on-site crew to manage all the audio/visual is very high. On the positive side, this allows for maximum flexibility, making it possible to organize an event like this even in the presence of uncertainties.
The schedule is going to be ~ 8:30 – 18:00 CET, and so it is not convenient participation for people not on CET. It is in this sense that we say that “GWPAW is scheduled as an in-person event” — the in-person participation drives the schedule.
